The last blog was on big rocks. Complete that exercise first (https://www.ameliads.com/post/big-rocks).

I also cover all of this in my upcoming book "The LOTUS Within" that is ready for pre-order now!

What is your next set of big and medium rocks?

From there, you can complete your five-year plan. Consider your

ten-, twenty-, and thirty-year plans. They all have to align. Once you

reach your five-year plan, it’s like you’re no longer writing down your

thoughts and dreams in pencil. They are becoming more concrete.

So, what are you doing? Where are you? Who are you with? What

have you accomplished?

What is your next set of big, medium, and little rocks?

If there are certain things you want to do thirty years from now, like

retire in Hawaii, that may cost a lot, so you need to start saving as

much as you can in order to get there. This is how your five-, ten-,

and twenty-year plans connect. How will you start saving now?

As for me, in thirty years, I want to be retired, traveling the world,

and still teaching. Therefore, my twenty-year plan must reflect where

I will live and travel destinations. My ten-year plan (when I will likely

be retired from the military) must include increased savings!

How will I make that happen? Will I still be working despite

being retired from the military? If I want to travel, I have to stay

active and healthy, ensuring I enjoy my travels.
