Pomodoro Technique:

Energize Your Focus with Intentional Breaks

ree

Grab your journal and your The LOTUS Within book (https://www.amazon.com/LOTUS-Within-Purpose-Ignite-Passion/dp/B0DDRDXB89). This week is on the Pomodoro Technique.

Have you ever felt your focus wane after long stretches of work? The Pomodoro Technique offers a simple yet powerful way to maintain energy and prevent burnout by working in short, focused intervals.

🍅 What is the Pomodoro Technique?

This method breaks work into 25-minute intervals (called “Pomodoros”), separated by short 5-minute breaks. After completing four Pomodoros, you take a longer break to recharge.

It’s designed to balance productivity and rest, helping you sustain concentration without exhaustion.

✨ Why This Matters

For women balancing multiple roles, Pomodoro helps create manageable, bite-sized work periods that prevent overwhelm. It encourages focus and refreshment, boosting efficiency and wellbeing.

🖋️ Journal Prompts for the Week

  1. What tasks feel overwhelming and might benefit from Pomodoro intervals?

  2. How do I currently take breaks during my work?

  3. What distractions arise during focused work, and how can I minimize them?

  4. How might regular breaks improve my energy and focus?

  5. What is one small step I can take to start using Pomodoro this week?

This Week’s Practice

This week, try working in focused 25-minute intervals on a task you’ve been avoiding or feeling overwhelmed by. Notice how taking intentional breaks affects your energy and productivity.

With steady presence and care,
