Continuous Improvement

Continuous improvement is a critical component of strategic future planning. It involves regularly reflecting on your progress and identifying areas where you can improve. When you prioritize continuous improvement, you are better able to adapt to changing circumstances and stay motivated to achieve your goals. It also helps you develop a growth mindset, which is essential for success in all areas of life.

Throughout my career, I have always been passionate about finding ways to make the organization better, to make the people better, and along the way it also helps me to be better.

One vehicle I have been able to take advantage of is the lean six sigma certifications that were available to us. I was able to complete certification for the highest level of lean six sigma, which is the master black belt. I was also able to help others in completing their own certification requirements, which is helpful in the military sector and in the civilian sector.

Continuous improvement is important because you identify things that can be improved, based on decreasing cost, improving quality, and increasing speed.

What are you implementing for continuous improvement for yourself and others?
